    Hi Guys,

    I removed my EGR valve to clean it out as my car has not been working properly (limp mode, black smoke, no power, EML).

    After cleaning it, I noticed that the butterfly valve is not completely closed. See photo below, you can see daylight either side. I'm guessing this is broken.

    Does anyone know what the default position of this valve should be?

    it should be closed probably the gear worn
