nice, site, I just check the MOT the garage did when I bought the car. It brings back these two as "Advisory"

Nearside Front macpherson strut has slight movement at the upper attachment (2.5.A.1c)
Offside Front macpherson strut has slight movement at the upper attachment (2.5.A.1c)

Any idea what this means. ?

I have exactly the same advisory as Big E on my MOT (play on macpherson strut) plus the front offside lower suspension arm has slight play in the ball joint. How bad is it? Have you found out yet big E?

Nice one. I've just bought my car and am checking out its history (didn't come with a lot). From behind the wheel, I can feel a little bit of play in the front suspension, which I must admit was a worry - but it has done 121K. The MOT search has shown there was an advisory for play in the front anti roll bar linkage, that would explain it and shouldn't be too expensive to sort out.

    Have a & thanks!

    Cheers,
