So, 17k miles on the clock and my Ad Blue warning had just come on. For the 4th time!!!!
    That's 68l it's consumed.
The car will be going in for an inspection soon so I was thinking of questioning them about the amount it's using.
Before I do that, what's the average consumption of others please?

I get about 7000 miles to 10 litres.
Last service I got the dealer to fill it and it lasted about 9000miles before the warning came up. Didn’t get charged for it so not sure how much they shoved in but I’m assuming it was filled fully.

Also get about 7000 miles for 10l. Obviously the useage of Adblue relates to engine running time not mileage, so if you do a very high proportion of inner city driving, stuck in traffic then I would expect a much higher consumption than if you do lots of high speed motorway driving. My own profile is a daily commute of 32 miles round trip along a30/a4 from heathrow area to Ealing and the occassional 400 mile motorway trip to Manchester and back

It doesn't look like the consumption is anything above normal then thankfully.

Might also depend what engine you have. Theoretically the 3.0 v6 should use more as it’s burning fuel at a higher rate.

Filled it up earlier, it took 13l. Mileage is 17400. I'll see what it is the next time it gets filled.

Bought my 2.0 last April - demo had done 5800 miles. I just got the warning a few weeks ago, and it was showing range left as 1000 miles today. My mileage is 13400 miles, so have done 7600 miles since it was last filled by the dealer. I put in 12 litres and then think I noticed noticed the tank overflow a little, and I thought it would take more than 12 litres.

Manual says tank volume is 17 litres, and would be nice if it said at 1500 mile warning you need to refill with xx litres and at 600 miles warning fill with xx litres.
Manual states that from the red warning, you must fill with at least 5.7 litres to get the car going.
Alsy says uses 0.5 to 2.5% adblue to fuel.

I have a hundred mile round trip to dealer so will be filling myself.

That’s the reason I just put 10l in now. As soon as the warning comes on I know it will take it all. Used to get the 20l cans from factors but was getting overflow and left with a few litres. Also the stuff left appears to crystallise after a while so end up going to waste.
