Bought a replacement ccm part number 8E0907279N. I had vcds run on it and it wouldn't code to component protection. How do I go about removing the protection to get it to work?
    Thanks

    hello mate,
Component protection (CP) cannot be removed with VCDS, it can only be removed with ODIS via VW group online server access. If the part (CCM) is not stolen or black listed any dealer will be able to code it for you but will charge you around £120-150. Depending where you live they are some users with server access and they can do it cheaper. If not far from Hemel Hempstead I can remove it for you.
I have genuine VCDS, VagCAN Pro and ODIS with online server access for any of your programming needs in Hemel Hempstead/Watford area.

Crikey! That's expensive. I'm in Swansea so if anyone near me can help that would be greatly appreciated Lol
