24% is pretty high. Who did you use?
That puts a new s6 in the bitdi price range 😄

Orange Wheels. A quick look on the website is showing 23% for an S6. Autoebid where slightly better from other prices I had seen for the BiTdi at the time, but only a few hundred pounds.

Order books are now full for RS6 & S6 models, so if you are looking for one then it will have to be a dealer stock order (if they have any)

I would imagine most of those are dealer stock orders, how many are UK based though is an unknown. My BiTdi slot was a 'dealer stock order', which was then customised to my spec, so I would still try for a quote.

Still undecided what I fancy but it will be soon.
Been put off a little with Audi recently so might have a look at other brands.
I do fancy the s6 with its v8 as these big engines are gonna disappear in favour of smaller engines with huge turbos all in a attempt to please politicians for lower co2. The other option is I dont really need a big car anymore so could downsize to something like a s5(or dare I say it here a 3 series or c43)
Only thing that pulls me towards another Audi is Quattro. I had no issues with the beast from the east even when the snow was at headlight level 😄 and that was with a set of worn winter tyres.

Got my A6 Avant 16 months ago through carwow. The best quote was, funnily enough, from my local dealer, so I went with it. The car was a full factory order, heavily customised, and they delivered it from order in 7 weeks. No GAP, etc. pushed, straightforward, 22% off list price, and just in time to beat the changed road tax rules. Can't really complain, the car has been faultless since, but it ran solely on Shell V-Power Nitro, and oil changes at 9.5K in between the regular services.
Prior to my car I also used carwow for my other half's car two years ago, got a good deal on a VW Golf from a dealer 80 miles away, and they delivered the car home, no hassle, all well.

My local Audi dealership, was chatting about the C8 and the conversation when on to the the S & RS models. If anyone is looking for an RS6 then Newcastle Audi has a stock car in the showroom!

Was told today that the c8 A6 should be in showroom floor by end of July so in the next few months the c7 will be heavily discounted.
C8 S6/rs6 looking end of year start of next if we are lucky.

I didn't realise but there are some dealers that are specialist RS dealers so Stoke Audi for example are one and they had more RS models than I could drool over I ended up getting my BiTDi from there
