    On the wife's EOS (2009 wk 48 build) TDI had a flashing heater coil light the constant engine management light. Did read with Hex-V2 lead & VCDS and got:

    001348 Sensor 1 for Exhaust Temp Bank 1 PO544 - Circuit Malfunction - MIL ON.

    Assuming it was faulty I've replaced the G235 probe with a new one from VW but I'm still getting the fault but with different temperature data each time after clearing it. I've gone back and checked the connections and that the probe is seated properly. Any ideas folks preferably without it costing me any more?

    Incidentally I've done a resistance test on the old probe with a multi-meter and got approx. 200 ohms at room temp so it may well NOT have been faulty...

    OK, easy solution dealer gave me a G495 EGT sensor so that was the one I changed. Swaped it for a G235 (see my thread on replacing it) and strangely enough all OK now...
