But what I wanna know is, they are supposedly 181/184bhp but they don't seem like it with the few that I have drove.
The few mk7's that I have drove had between 30k - 70k on the clock with FVWSH on them.
I had 2 mk 4 golfs (110) and (130) which were more responsive and seemed to have more torque, bearing in mind these cars had 50bhp less which doesn't make sense

    Any replies much appreciated ;-)

Your right they do seem tame by comparison at first until you realise their power is more gradual like a petrol motor and only pushing from 2k+ but make no mistake they are just as rapid (even more so with a remap).
Lovely quality cars and although not as economical as a PD 130 either they still average around 50+

I`ll only speak of the number of Bigfish rolling remaps which I`ve had personal experience of although I`ve had others but many years ago.
Bigfish in Stokesley is reasonably local for me but forum recommendation help me decide on their work.
Competively priced and very professional their remaps have given excellent power delivery plus economy and never given a moments problem.
