Bose amp repair

Finally got round to taking the amp out and a little suspicious as there where only 3 screws holding it in, not 4 as I think there should be, leading me to believe that perhaps someone had it out during recent crash repair to the rear of my car requiring a complete new Valance and splitter, new

parking sensor

s and parking sensor loom. Anyway I now need to have it tested / repaired, I have found a company in Glasgow (called BOSE REPAIR EXPERTS), just wondering if anyone has had any dealings with them or could recommend somewhere a little closer to home (Liverpool).
The part No for my AMP is 4F0 035 223 G

When I got mine only had sound coming out of drivers side speakers, on investigation found similar to yourself. Only 3 screws , transpired that the rear was pipe had leaked onto original amp and the dealer had just swapped in a new amp from a breakers.

now this causes issues as they have component protection on them, faults can vary from no sound to only sound from one source depending on god knows what.

after visiting Audi they told me that they couldn’t rectify as I didn’t purchase it from them. Eventually found an independent specialist in Wembley and £45 later resolved, might be worth googling for a local independent before sending it off.
