    Default Emisions workshop warning P0183 Fuel Temeperature Sensor fault code – 24-03-2018,07:58 AM
    Hi
    New member to the forum and hoping someone can help solve an issue with an Engine Management issue.
    I have a 2005 diesel golf which recently showed Engine Management light and Emissions Workshop advice using a code reader it highlighted P0183 - Generic Current Fuel Temperature Sensor A circuit high. I have changed the sensor and reset/cleared code and car can be run without warning showing, however once ignition is turned off and on again warning code returns. I have checked resistance against temperatures of old sensor and it appears to be ok.
    Has anyone had similar problems or can give me an idea what to check next.

    Which engine do you have, the 1.9 or the 2 litre?
