    Hi,

    Scratching my head.

Car ABS light come on, then started flashing with the Red Exclamation Mark.

Plugged in my scanner and come up with Fault Codes 00290 and 00668.

Figured it'll just replace the sensor and that will be that.... Picked up the part from local Car Parts Store (LVW)

However, never bloody simple with an 18 year old car is it.

The ABS light has remained on and the Red Exclamation mark of doom has too.

Reluctor Ring looks good. There's no wheel bearing noise. And there's a voltage to the wire that connects to the wheel sensor.

I'm rather stumped, proper begrudge paying garages money too!

    Any other ideas appreciated

So do you “proper begrudge” taking free advice from a garage owner?

You have replaced the rear left speed sensor but which code has come back after clearing the codes after the repair, the sensor itself or the low ECU voltage?

Didn't mean it to sound harsh, it's just I do all my own car work, home DIY, gardening etc as I've got things to pay for.

Yes, Replaced the sensor. Took the Voltage reading from the part of the wire/loom that plugs into the sensor. No other codes relating to any of the other wheels etc, so just has me stumped.
