Yes of course there has been a second hand speedo fitted to the car and is showing the incorrect mileage

I'd imagine your Audi dealer could do that for you.

Audi can definitely not do mileage correction they can only put the mileage on a brand new speedo not a second-hand one they're the first people I asked if they could do it the car would have gone straight into them

Not trying to sound negative or imply something dodgy is going on.
On a 2015 car would be just within or maybe just out of warranty and if it needed a speedo replacement it would come under warranty so will be a new one from dealer.
Just trying to understand why a second hand one was fitted.

Yes it is possible to do and ive seen it done even on the very latest cars. But not going to divulge info as mentioned above its a 2015 car and should still be under warranty, and a 2015 speedo failing is a bit strange.
Oh and a first post by someone asking about mileage correction is not a good start imho

Don't worry guys, the ECU also estimates mileage of the car (not via gearbox encoder) and although the Speedo can maybe be adjusted to show one figure, changing the ECU one is not a simple matter. The ECU can maybe can be flashed or the like to change it but, the first trip to an Audi dealer would indicate that meddling had gone on and as a minimum a TD1 would show on the cars history with potential red faces for whoever meddled with it. So the proper way to do this is with the Dealer and not "creatively"!
