I have just got my mk4 golf GT back today after replacing heater matrix, pollen filter, timing and water pump. Everything was fine until I was at 70mph on the motorway. Car started overheating and blowing cold air. When I slowed the car down the temp came back down, still blowing cold air. Any suggestions please. TIA

Sounds like the cooling system is airlocked, and the air is now trapped in the heater matrix, as this is the high point in the system check the coolant level in the expansion bottle, top it up with the correct mix of pink stuff if it's empty or take it back to whoever did all this work.
