Does your diesel audis exhaust gas smell strange :)

Probably a strange question.
Previous a4 b8 2tdi and now 2015 a6 exhaust gas smell different.
this is now euro6 engine I think, a4 euro5. This has adblue is this why it smells different, kind of burny?
In other words - does burnt diesel with and without adblue smell different?
Sorry if it's a dumb question.

could be it is doing a regeneration of the DPF which does create a burning smell
