I have a 2012 Audi A3 TDI S Line Quattro 170. I had a problem with the clutch pedal sticking down and the mechanic changed the master cylinder and the slave cylinder and I put a new clutch and flywheel in as recommended. It’s all working again now but when the car is left all day or over night when I go to start it the pedal sticks down but if I pull it back up after it starts it works fine. It’s been back to get bled again but it was the same again the next morning. Any ideas. Someone mentioned that there’s another valve like a non return or something like that and this may need changing. It’s only cheap apparently ?

Did you fit the correct clutch plate, cover, bearing and flywheel? This may be the issue if any of them are the incorrect part for your car.

I hope so he is a German car specialist. It’s started to leak now somewhere on the drivers side so it’s gone back in

Okay. I ask as Ive had an incorrect clutch kit for a merc sprinter and although looking at it it looked identical it had all manner of issues when in operation! It was from a main dealer too!Possibly the leak is the problem.
