Please help DPF problem

Hi folks, Hope you can help me.

Audi a3 2010 2.0 tdi 140 (cffg) 53k on the clock that I have owned for 7 years has amber dpf symbol lit up. I took the car up to the motorway and there seemed to be a delay of throttle response and then kicked into life intermitenly. before I got to motorway coil light started flashing and no luck with regen.
I hooked up snap-on solus, just soot build up fault code. I tried static regen but didn't get anywhere near 1500rpm after 30mins. I took the car back on motorway with dynamic driving regen mode. after several attempts I got the same:
status active
soot level 5g at 2000rpm
temp before dpf 180-230 deg
temp after dpf 150-160 deg
I took the revs upto 3600 rpm for 10mins in 3rd just to see temp level before dpf and only got to 280 deg, no where near the regen temp.

i've tried every option possible and I feel the regen is not possible with coil light flashing?
could MAF cause this?
throttle assembly looks fine very little build up.
hoping not to go down the line of new dpf turbo etc as was changing car come April
