    Hi

I see a lot of posts for the pre facelist but has anyone found a source that shows how to unlock the facelift green menu.
A lot of trawling though massive threads and I still have no seen an FL alternative to the channel adaptation.

Anyone managed to turn on the automatic parking brake when in P?

It’s in the first post on the sticky.
A lot of them don’t work as there are no label files for the new modules.
Automatic parking brake has been on from factory on both my facelifts. It turns on as soon as your seatbelt is on. If I’m in p and turn car off the handbrake applies.

There is no channel 6 in the fl that has a developer mode last the adaptation section is a list rather than a channel number. Hence the question.

Never been in the parking module on a facelift as every one I have owned and driven(courtesy cars) the auto parking has always been on. If the parking light in the dis is green when you are in P, unbuckling your seat belt or turning off the car applies the handbrake automatically so the light turns red. I don’t think I have pressed or touched the handbrake button since I’ve owned mine.

If I turn on the hill hold assist then the function is as you describe, without it on the handbrake doesn't apply. My car is a S-tronic so it shouldn't move with the selector in P anyway.

Hill hold assist should turn on automatically as soon as you start the car and put your seatbelt on. Both my fl 14 plate and 15 has done this both stronic. Never had to press the button to turn it on.

Hi. I think the auto handbrake function can be set on/off from the MMI. It was enabled when I got the car but decided I wanted to have control so turned it off, am sure it was via MMI.

With my 2017 it appears that several configuration options are not visible on the mmi plus. I think Audi hid away a lot of options and without getting to the holy grail of the 'Hidden Green Menu' I cant enable them.

I started using the braking assist function, which when stopped holds the brake (green P on the dash) and this gives me what I want stop-> in to Park -> engine off -> EPB comes on automatically.

There’s no green menu in the facelift.
There is a tech menu but it doesn’t contain much. Brake assist can be defaulted on but as I said all a6’s that I’ve driven it was defaulted on from factory. Will have a look at my last vcds scan and see if I can post the coding.

I managed to get a green menu, setting the 5F adaptation for "Developer Mode" to active, then by pressing the BACK and Botton left silver button for about 10 seconds a green menu appeared showing /production/.....
There is very little in it compared to the C6 green menu I had in my previous car. I'm suspicious there is another adaptation in the 5F to get the proper mode , there is a "Production Mode" adaptation too.
The other thing is that after an engine restart the adaptation is cleared and the menu is not available again.

I was on to Ross-tech who have a experimental label file for the 5F Module but that is only for HEX-NET cable owners not lowly HEX-CAN like me.
