BBS is one brand highly regarded (at least in Germany) and I am certainly very pleased with mine that I use for my winter wheels. Another one is Borbet. They make the original wheels for quite a few car manufacturers.
BBS is a good brand here too. But I've seen a lot of replica wheels that appear to come from China for example and look almost identical to say Audi Rota wheels but the quality of the metal isn't there. They are sometimes called Audi 'Style' Rota's.

At the prices bbs charges for the wheels i would hope that the quality matches price.
To be fare bbs and other like momo are well regarded globally not just over here.

The tire place where I (and indeed the company) goes gave me really good rates for the wheels. I use 19” SX wheels for winter and paid something like €140per piece, without tire. Not bad I think. Tires where over €200 each!

That’s cheaper than a set from Audi and looks way better than the Audi offerings. The sx looks similar to the twisted twin spoke ones on the BE’s.

Yes, 19” is the smallest one can fit on the S6 (20” with with ceramic). If my previous 18” would have fitted I would have kept them as they were still good, even after 3 winters with lots of salt etc.

My 18s been through 3 winters and still have 5-6mm tread and cleans up like new.
Need to look into pricing bbs wheels. Need to get a set for the Mrs for next winter(maybe next week with beast from the east part deux). I would be happy at €140(~£120) each plus tyre. Much better than merc wanting £1800 for a set of 17s.

But Wonder if its worth it. I am sure original audi alloys are much better quality.
    What do you think?
Was looking here for some inspiration but don't seem to find a thread with loads of images
So something like these then which you can get in anthracite. Atom - Alloy Wheel Collection - G.M.P. GROUP srl

You can get them in the UK through an OEM but I haven't checked on Norway. The configurator required me to change to CET so I didn't check the finished look either.
