Warranty for used A6 avant quattro

I have had my A6 3.0 tdi Quattro for nearly 1 year now and the included warranty is due for renewal. It was just a one given by garage but does not cover main dealer or have a very high limit on parts replacement [ gearbox repairs would probably not pay out enough] so am looking for recommend policy or ideas. I noticed Warrantwise won't pay out for dsg solenoid problems. Any good ones out there?

A mate of mine used Warranty Direct; seemed to give him decent cover as they paid for his timing chain and all the tensioners to be replaced on his BiTdi. They also covered his EGR cooler replacement

think he paid about £500?? He went for it as he said it gave him the closest coverage to a full Audi warranty

The aa and rac both seem not to sell warrantys to public. Quite a few seem to exclude things in gearbox that go wrong when you read small print. Motoreasy seem to cover almost everything and you can specify audi dealer repairs for about £100 more a year.
