Just got my car back as the front seat cushion(bolster) has completely collapsed. It’s flatter than my old golf that had 180+ks on it.
Took it into a dealer and they looked at it and said it’s not covered under warranty. It’s wear and tear. The car has 25k on it and to me it shouldn’t have a completely flat bolster that offers no support now.
I’m getting really disappointed in Audi. From brakes not covered to now the seat isn’t covered.
The thing is they have worked on the seat before and it’s the same seat I’ve had problems with since I got it.
The customer service is getting to be pretty poor.
Annoying thing is I do like the car and it did very well in the deep snow recently and I can’t think of another car I want to change it to.

    My experience is very different.

I've had plenty of visits to the dealership in the past few years since i got this car with various teething issues and tbh my experience has been really good.

So much so that I paid and extended my warrenty and just yesterday my fuel flap got fixed under warrenty.

Only issue I've had with warrenty is when the washer fluid started leaking inside the bumper. That got categorised as 'hoses', which wasn't covered and was annoying.

Mines just over 2 years old so still in the factory warranty. This is my third c7 and the others had way more mileage and didn’t collapse.
Hate to see what they would cough up on if it was an extended one.

I’ve owned many cars that’s went well over 100k and the bolster didn’t look this bad.
Might have to give them a shout.

Exactly. My argument would be the outer material should wear out before the foam filling fails.

Tried that. With customer service and dealer.
Even their warranty t&c says seat coverings are subject to wear and tear but this is the bolster underneath.
Even if I was 40 stone I would expect it to be covered. The A6 is a big car for big people so should take the abuse anyway.

Well it seems that Audi U.K. customer service have no control or influence of warranty department.
The warranty department in Audi is not customer facing and their word is final. There’s no way of challenging a decision that’s been made even though I’ve had an industry expert look at it and said it shouldn’t be like that. If I want it fixed it’s around £1k, no goodwill towards it, nowt.
Again not impressed with the way things are handled.
