    Hi all
Just helping out a mate and haven't yet been at it with VCDS but his GTD has been parked up for a month or so in the cold weather and subsequently the battery had gone flat. Charged it up and run the car etc every couple of days.
Now for some reason the battery light is on, tested the battery and alternator....battery is fine and alternator is charging at 14.4v. The strange this is....when you plug in the seatbelt the battery light goes out.
Due to scan with VCDS in the next day or so but thought i'd check to see if this has ever been experienced before.
    Cheers
You don't know how it works until you take it apart!

Post full scan results here and will take a look.
Worth clearing all faults too then post rescan...will be a tonne of under-voltage faults across all modules which will muddy the waters.
