I've been looking at bike racks and would appreciate your views on any bike rack you have used.

I e-mailed Saris (in the US) about their Sentinel 3-bike carrier ... they repeated the "will it fit" guide's remarks that it fits anything up to the 2010 model CC.

And, that the Sentinel rack isn't recommended because of the (non-existent) plastic spoiler fitted to 2013 model CCs .... I have yet to see a plastic spoiler fitted to any CC I have spotted so I suggested to Saris that I wasn't happy with the answer. There has been no reply.

So, over to you in the real world ... what do you use, or would avoid ?

I've got a westfalia which clamps onto the towbar. Not only will it take two bikes but you can get an adaptor for a third bike, or put a box on it like a roof box. Great as I have a cabriolet & it increases what you can carry.
