This fault started recently when it got cold. Still starts on the button, hot or cold, but shows with a lumpy motor at idle when cold with corresponding 'actual' fuel pressure jumping all over the place between 80 and 800 BAR(800000 hPa) when the specified is a fairly solid 320 BAR. When warm the lumpy has gone and the fuel pressure actual against specified is correct.
So to determine is the CR fuel pressure sensor playing up when cold and warmed up it is working ok? Has anyone seen this before? Or are there other blocks that might show up any pump/control issue? It's hard to believe the high value could be possible in the rail at idle I would have thought? Seems to be stacks more measuring blocks that might prove something if someone knows here? I have a golf with a similar CR engine which is useful for comparison measurements.
The only other thing I noticed and likely completely unrelated was that the exh gas temp sensor 2 is broken, reading 0 degrees C and no mV output. But no dtc issued for this ? Obviously I'll get onto that soon also.
