Hi all, I have an Audi tt 225 q 98/99 model.
Earlier this week I noticed that my nearside dipped beam was shining/glowing orange instead of the normal white.
A chap at work says that it means the bulb is about to blow.
The bulb has now stopped working, all others are still good.
Before I spend stupid money on a new bulb, is it most likely the bulb has actually blown or is this possibly due to faulty ballast, just wonder if orange glowing bulb is a normal sign of impending bulb failure or something else is going on.
I believe the bulb is xenon as opposed to halogen as it flashes and dims as switched on usually.
Hope that all makes sense, and does anybody have a clue as to the price of the correct bulb if it has popped
Many thanks

Stuart
