As per the title really, the front lower control arms on my 2005 S4 are showing signs of wear with the bushes worn on the rear lower arms and the rubber gaiter split on one of the front ones. Before anyone suggests replacing both upper and lower arms the uppers are fine and I need to keep costs down within reason.
So which brand do I use and where is the best, aka who supplies the right brand at the best price, I'm assuming nobody actually bothers replacing just the bushes even thought it appears you can buy them separately?

Thanks for that, I decided to go for these, hopefully they'll be up to the job and fitting goes as easily as you say - MEYLE HD Lower Front Suspension Arm Kit Left Right Arms Set 8E Audi A4 2002-2005 | eBay

After going through loads of front arms on my old B5 A4, by using aftermarket ones, some lasting around a year, I promised myself if I ever need to replace any on my B6 I would always use genuine. The problem with the eBay ones is they are not actually marked with the manufacturer, so you think you are getting, say, Mayle heavy duty, when in fact what you get is cadburys latest chocolate ones.

I learnt by my mistakes, buy cheap, buy twice. TPS for me all the time now, and fit myself saving on labour costs.

I used Febi 4 years ago and lower ones are all still sound. Just had to replace uppers. I did the whole lot 4 years ago because the kit was only a little more than replacing the 4 that needed doing anyway.
Got them from Jason at http://www.allgermanparts.co.uk/common/home. Phone him for the best price.
