Hi guys

Have a 2006 2.0tdi DSG B6 Passat

150,000 miles

Couple of issues I need help with

1) the heater only blows warm air when on hottest setting I have noticed when the heating is on in the car the engine temp gauge on the dash doesn’t move If I change the air temp in the car to aircon the temp engine gauge goes to half way.

2) driving today I had the following lights come on

ABS
TRACTION CONTROL
HANDBREAK FAULT


Please can anyone offer me any guidance on these issues

Regarding the 1st issue, I would say the thermostat is stuck open.

As you have a DSG it will have 2 thermostats, 1 for the engine which rarely fails, & 1 for the DSG which seems to be a common failure & luckily is the easiest to change.

Issue 2 could be a duff ABS sensor, but you need a scan to get the codes.
