    I've had no problems since the re-map....car running perfectly and no sign of any leak.

    These EGR Leaks are not the fault of the EGR, the oil itself is from the PCV and just so happens to be thin enough to escape past seals in the EGR body. Try a catch can or elephant mod to stop it reaching this far, both can be messy though, best thing is to remove the EGR valve and install a delete (don't delete ASV)

    That is illegal.... and for good reason as the EGR reduces NOX emissions by reducing combustion temperatures and NOX is what is killing people..... thousands of people every year.

    Anthropogenic climate change, the biggest con inflicted on mankind since religion...

    Agreed. It does more harm than good, the amount of crap it puts back through your turbo and intercooler and intake manifold. I think it would be much better if they just designed it out entirely and made diesel cars use more Adblue instead.

    That would be the best solution , egr just outdated and bad .

    SCR isn't without it's reliability issues though and as per usual expensive to fix .
