Hi all just ordered a new A4 2.0 tfsi 190 black edition with lots of toys and was wondering which is the best audio format to get the best out of the olufsen system was thinking maybe flac but am not sure if flac inports info such as artwork and so on. any ideas cheers..

Notwithstanding the different ways to access music (iPhone, USB, etc.) yes FLAC works very well.
However, artwork can be handled poorly by the MMI (regardless of file format), for example a compilation album (different artists) and the MMI uses Audi-generic (and naff) artwork, I have given up on this and just live with it (Audi blamed the generation of iPod - five different generations, and/or the file-format if using USB/FLAC, everyone but themselves!).

One thing to note - if you like live albums, classical music etc. the Audi MMI won't play tracks gapless, this is not a problem if you use iPhone / iPod etc. which solved the gapless issue years ago. I always keep an old iPod just for music purposes.
