    I'll do what I do with the PPI calls, "oh yes I did, 2 seconds while I grab the paperwork" then I put the phone on the side and see how long they stay on the line!

    I don't even want to let them use up my battery....

    I can usually tell now within the first few secs when it's a cold call. It's like spam email...you get better at spotting them and deleting them....one of the perks of modern life!

    Disconnected my phone line. That was the equivalent of having a spam dedicated email address....
