Well, something had to go wrong sometime. Light on dashboard now on and cheapo obd11 scanner gives me 'rear right sensor' now I can see the front sensors easy peasy but for the love of God I can't see anything like it at the rear. Anyone put me on the right track? Cheers in advance.

Yes, thanks, think I'm going blind, can't see it. Going to take both rear wheels off to compare. As I said, front ones are staring me in the face. Strange.

As long as you dont have air suspension then its just 1 on front and one on rear. With air susp then its 1 on each corner.

I remember doing my eibach springs and taking it off so i didnt break it.

That might explain it. I'll go take a look. Found the n/s front side I'll look for the n/s rear now. Thanks, enjoy the rest of your weekend!

You were of course absolutely right. Still can't see anything obviously wrong so I'll get it sorted at next service. Thanks again.

What is the error light you are getting on the dash? No access to vcds?

Simply says headlamp range control fault. It happened shortly after dropping the n/s front into a hidden hole on a verge. All I have is Carista which says rear right sensor', which is nonsense we as there isn't a sensor there.

Suggest you check the front left one as well seeing as the front side is the one that dropped into the hole.

Yup, done that today, nothing obviously, linkages all attached, connectors all tight, wiring seems ok. Time to bite the bullet I think.
