You will need an M8 XZN hex key for the inner CV flange and a 12 point 36-mm socket with a flat face and no chamfer up into the socket as the nut is very low profile. You MUST use a new nut and make sure this is not one with a flat face, it must be convex but flat face ones are sometimes supplied and these are too short, they rip the end of the joint off. I can't remember the nut torque but I think it is 50Nm plus 90 degrees. If you remind me tomorrow I will check.

i eventually got round to doing this job last Friday spent 2 hrs getting the old driveshaft off and another 2 hrs putting the new one back on so really pleased with myself for a first time effort, the outer cv joint was completely wrecked with the rubber gaiter missing/shredded no wonder i came to a halt all of a sudden and had to be recovered home
Thanks to Crasher i had the right tools and had a Haynes manual already which was a big help, i also read somewhere on this forum to use wd 40 the night before on all the bolts that needed to be undone and they came off really easy.
getting the driveshaft hub nut i used the car wheel nut brace over my socket ratchet handle and tapped it once with a lump hammer and it came loose/ to get the inner driveshaft bolts off i had to wedge a piece of 3 x 2 timber between the brake pedal and front seat to stop the driveshaft spinning when loosening the 6 bolts to the transmission end and also put a pair of mole grips on the lower driveshaft so it wedged on the lower suspension arm as i was working solo and had no one to operate the foot brake
good afternoons work and cost me only 40.00 for the new driveshaft off ebay
    Cheers Tony

If you use a wheel bolt with a big nut underneath (the bolt is too long without) to prevent the disc shearing the retaining screw, a decent screwdriver in one of the disc vent holes butted up against the caliper stops the disc rotating.
