    Hi, long time no visit but in case it's of use to anyone...

    We had the EPC light coming on on our Nov 2015 19,000 mile 1.4 TSI ACT 150 Golf , followed by a stop/start error on switching off. Also the car had barely any acceleration at all. You could get to 60mph but it would take 15 minutes! Occasional fault code for "Air intake leak" was logged.

    Got it into VW and the turbo wastegate actuator rod had completely fallen off and was recovered from the engine undertray! Actuator rod repair kit fitted under warranty and all good now. Don't think it was limp home mode as such, just shows how much of the power comes from the turbo on these!

    Just changed the front tyres for the first time too but other than the above no issues at all
