Is the mirror controller on the drivers door in the middle between left and right ?

Used to be in older cars that this had to be in the middle to allow the heated mirrors to work

It could be that the controller is switched to the right door mirror to get power to work the movement of the mirror

You could replace the mirror also in the passenger door if the heating element is built into it ? Phone Audi Parts Department and check

But cheapest option is take off the trim on both front doors and see where the wire is for the heating element is & test with multimeter

Also another free option is pull back the wiring cover beside the door hinges & check no broken wires leading from door to car body, or green gunge
