Just a update on the problem, got hold of a used module fitted it and got the same code(no voltage at abs valves)thought ok that's faulty too, tried another one, same fault code, so no suspected power feed went back to the fuse which I'd already checked 3 times previous with a multimeter across the top of the fuse,no problem 12v ! Thought damn it must be the loom,£hit! anyway left it for a while, too cold for that, went to it yesterday thought I'd give that fuse no 7 for the esp a good looking at,pulled it and tested it from the back and low and behold no voltage coming out there was some sticky residue inside the fuse block, cleaned it all out and power at last, original module fitted and back to normal, the only thing a can think of is its residue thats leaked out of the vents when cleaning with aircon cleaner, the moral of the saga is always check your power and grounds.
