Just got my car back after eight weeks in the dealership and my wife's advanced key won't work - my key, the one that I gave to the dealer, works fine.

Would someone be so kind as to post up how to re-sync the advanced key please? I think I've seen it on here but can't for the life of me find it.

    Thanks
    Scott

You cannot do it yourself. The dealer most likely changed the gateway module for the car, and this requires you to go back with the nonfunctional key.

yeah you can't resync yourself Gyro, needs to be hooked upto the comp at the dealer

Check in the MMI under settings where it shows how many keys are linked to the car. should say 2.
