    First post on here.

Does anyone know where I can find the location of my Alhambra’s oil filter. I’m led to believe it’s usually down the right side of the engine block on a 2.0 tDi 7N engine and the VW Sharan oil change guides on YouTube etc would suggest that this is the case.

In that location on my car however there seems to be what looks like an EGR type system and an intercooler.

    Any ideas.

Underneath, central in front of engine. If i remember correctly you need a 13mm socket and a 32mm socket and a 19 mm socket for the engine sump plug.

Do I need to replace the sump plug at an oil change or is there a washer or so molar. Can’t seem to find a part anywhere in a service kit anywhere for it.

Plug has a captive alloy washer, most folks renew the plug at an oil change, cost around a quid from tps ( or dealer )when i did an oil change the other week. Dont overtorque !
