    Hello there
Can anyone help me and give an advice regarding, the oil capacity, the oil specification and changing interval for a 6 speed manual gearbox and the same for the rear differential?
    I have a 2.0TDI 170BHP quattro 2008 with a 6 speed manual.
The reason I start considering to change the oil is because when the car is cold the 1st gear is a bit stiff. I own the car since new so it has never been that way.
Any help will be much appreciated .
    Thanks

Didkobandito, what mileage has your car covered? I have a similar model and have been wondering about the dif oil change as well. My Gearbox is fine.
I had a 2008 B8 with similar gearbox which was a bit notchy as you describe when I bought it at 120k miles but it just improved (I never changed or topped up the g/b oil) and when I sold it at 215k miles, it was silky smooth. I am not convinced that changing the oil will help you.

Definitely worth doing if gear selection is a bit stiff. Regards rear differential, I had this and transmission on my old V6 done by local mechanic as he has 4-post lift which is crucial given the car needs to be level. Rear diff took just under 2 litres (B5 model). Stuff came out like coffee. Can't remember specification, but done via Audi trade, so correct stuff.

Always worth it , but this G 055 532 is thin on the ground , information is non existant .

Any idea what viscosity grades it is ?

These genuine gearbox oils are snake oil , no data sheets !

    Experience tells me G 052 911 / G 052 171 would suit from Fuchs .
