    Hello, I own audi a8 3.0tdi d3 2006(motor 2011-changed).
Last year i had a problem with the temperature of the motor- it stayed cold at 50 C all the time, so i went to servis. The guys there changed the thermostat and everything went good- the temperature went to 90 C instantly. So now, one year later I have the same problem. So, once again I changed the thermostat just in case it went bad, but the things stayed the same- the engine is still not worming enough. When I go uphill for a long peroid the temperature goes allmost 90C , but just when starting downhill or regular flat run the temperature drops instantly and stays around 65-70 C.
Some more information please, what could be wrong with the engine?
    Thanks ahead

It will be the coolant regulator under the car beside the gearbox. It is cheap and not too hard to replace. Just two hose clips.
