    Any ideas?
They power steering us judder at low revs and the battery light is now coming on.
How close am I to a breakdown?
    What could be the cause?

    Cheers

Could be the crank pulley with the rubber mounting going. A common fault on C6 about 100,000 miles.

    Well the car broke!
Driving alone the battery light was on, then the esp light came on, then the gearbox lit up like an exas tree and went into neutral all by itself, then all the lights everywhere went out but the engine was still running.
Been recovered to garage and wait for diagnosis. Presumably as engine was still running its along the alternator front somewhere...
Another load of cash for this black hole
