    Hi looking for some help - my heater motor fan stopped working on my 2010 1.6TDI A3 (SB59UCL) - Auto climate Control version - stripped the parcel shelf out to access the blower and looks like all the right voltages getting to the motor - so motor needs replaced - motor PN listed as a 2820015G on the label - went onto ebay and purchased a replacement which appeared to be compatible , however when it arrived - when aligning the socket of new to old - noted that the outline was different and looked like it was not going to be a simple replacement - checking further saw that the PN listed on new one was 2820015A - question is does anyone know if this Rev A vs G is significant enough to explain the mismatch - in process of returning ebay purchase.

    My inexperience showing here - after looking at the original motor again - I came to the conclusion that no difference between A & G,however after taking original motor out - noted that the fan was not rotating freely - after a few turns - original motor now working for the moment at least. If it goes again then at least I know that either an A or G version will fit the car :}

    I can only suggest you go to eurocarparts and type in your car reg. and search through to the heater motors and compare which is yours. I made a mistake like you.
    Mine had a electronic module fitted on the motor assembly where the standard has nothing if for a normal heating system.
