Hello all. Recently installed a AnyCar Bluetooth unit to my 04 Sline Avant. Very easy to install and so far it's great!
I routed the microphone up the pillar and across the roof trying to establish it somewhere in the overhead reading light area.
The microphone is round fits perfectly in an existing hole that's already there. BUT! There is a round sensor type thing already in it that matches the grills on the cover plate. Does any know what this does? The small wire connects to a black box attached to the backing plate of the centre console light.

    Cheers

Pretty certain that will be the alarm ultrasonic sensor.... Would need to go outside to look at mine to be sure but it seems to fit the description.
