  1. Fuse layout for 2014 Sharan - anyone got?

A couple of things have stopped working on my 2014 Sharan:

    • The nearside dipped headlight
    • The washer pump for the windscreen / tailgate

I've checked the headlight bulb, and it's fine. Replaced it just in case, and still doesn't work. I suspect there might be a fuse blown somewhere, but the manual doesn't have a fuse layout diagram in contrast to every other car I've ever owned! I've checked every fuse in the fuse box under the steering wheel, and also all fuses in the fuse box in the engine compartment, but didn't find any blown ones. It's possible that I missed one I suppose, but I don't fancy going through them all again. Even shining a torch onto them, it's hard to see by eye whether any fuse has blown, so I ended up removing and replacing each one individually to have a look at them.

Does anyone have a fuse layout diagram for the two fuse boxes in a 2014 Sharan, please?

I had a T5 Transporter and the manual stated that there wasn't a fuse map as the layouts were different depending on the individual options specified. Sounds like a similar situation. Can you be sure there are only two fuse boxes? I've been tripped up before by a Mondeo with one in the glove box and a Range Rover with fuses under the seat.
By process of elimination if you can knock out the offside dipped beam by pulling a fuse then you are likely in the right fuse box. Have you considered a loose loom plug somewhere?
If it's anything like my Touran, it doesn't help that when I change a bulb it doesn't light up until I switch the light off, count to ten, switch back on. Then it comes on. For some reason if a bulb fails it shuts off the power to that light. It can be darned frustrating!
