Disable Start/Stop

Sorry if this has been answered; I looked at the title of each thread for all 11 pages and nothing jumped out...

Anyone know of a way (ideally via VCDS) to disable to Stop/Start similar to the A6/A7 4G?

I tried the one method of changing the min. temperature for the AC but this didn't work for me.

I see Kufatec have an option: Coding interface disable start / stop for VW, Seat, Skoda, Audi

Any suggestions anyone?

Just push the button on the dash immediately after starting the car. However, you would have to do this each time you started the car.

At present its impossible to switch off SS permanently on the B9. I've also bought the Kufatec SS dongle and it did diddly squat. Likewise with Carista and VCDS.

The Kufatec unit worked perfectly on my Golf mk7 but £35

Or if you have Stronic put it in sports mode and start/stop disables automatically.

My stop start doesn't work unless the aircon front and back is on the same temperature. Try setting a different temperature in the back!
