I have front and rear cameras with corner views (front and rear )and an overhead view which consists of a car graphic image on a black background.

Been looking at the VCDS coding and have managed to overlay the car graphic image on all of the camera views BUT individually (see pic)

pls would someone who’s has the 360 degree overhead camera view share the VCDS coding so I can achieve the overhead car graphic image on the cameras (I know the side camera views will be missing due to the lack of cameras in the wing mirrors)

According to this post on audiworld this can and has been done , please see link below

    https://www.audiworld.com/forums/a7-192/surround-view-camera-retrofit-2844375/page2/

    Many thanks

    Hi M1tchy

Went into the green menu and disabled “park assist” - but the obviously the warning beeps don’t activate when you get near an object, I’m trying to figure this out, but working blind - that’s why I’ve asked for the VCDS coding.

This definitely can be done with the camera options I have , it will just mean I’ll have the car graphic overlay on the front and rear cameras - and black backgrounds where the side cameras are missing due to me not having the wing mirror cameras.

Certainly an improvement on just the car graphic on a black background

********BTW -pls have a look at my cruise control post. Managed to get cruise control graphics in the drivers colour display instead of just the speed that is set.

Very smart. I have the front and rear cameras on my A7, same as you hence I’m interested in what you’re doing. But, my wife took delivery of a new Touareg 2 weeks ago and it has the full overhead parking system with cameras in the mirrors and we both love it!

I’ll look for your your CC thread

    Interesting! That's different from mine.

    Cheers!

Mine has the overhead view enabled from the factory. It's a facelift, though, so your coding may be a little different if yours is a pre-facelift?
