    Hi all,

    Found this rattling round in my rear bumper when washing the Avant today.

    Any ideas what it is, can't read the part number to identify it!

    Do you think its a bumper off job to get this back on and would it be a bad idea to drive without?

    it just stops the bumper sagging in the middle. Stuck in with double sided sticky foam pad. You can reach from under if you know where to put it. Didn't have one in my A6 after tow bar fitted and was fine without.
    NOW GONE 2007 A6 2.7TDi Avant Le Mans Edition (180)

    Mods:- ECU Remap, Rear Air Suspension, Rear Led Lights, Rear View Camera, Rear Privacy Glass, Titanium wheels, Colour Coded Fog Light Surrounds, FBMFSW, AMI, DAB, Chrome S6 pedals, Front Grille De-chrome, window surround de-chrome.

    Thanks, refitted it earlier. I'd be able to put it back without removing the bumper second time round as I know where it sits now. I expect it'll fallout again soon as it only loosely 'slots' into place and tape is next to useless now.
