    Hi all,

I've got a Golf MKIV key of the type pictured:

The silver loop onto which you would attach your keyring has snapped off. Short of getting a whole new casing, is there anything I can do to replace or fix it? Can you buy that part separately?

    Cheers

I have two old key fobs with that part intact. If you pm your address, I'll post one to you. You should be able to open it up and swap the broken part for an intact one. Maybe try opening up the the one I send to get the hang of it so you don't spoil your good fob?
