E9FFF079-9019-435C-8E45-B9FC3A538E52.jpgMy esp light has been on for a few weeks now on and off some time it will turn off and stay off for 4 to 5 days then come on again but today morning it came on And stayed on tried switching car off back on like I was doing before turning steering wheel left and right and driving and it was turning off before but not today. Was coming home from work today and it turned off then few seconds later it started flashing and car would not pick up speed full foot down and it was doing about 15mph. Then all of a sudden power was back and esp light on. Got home and scanned it fault code was steering wheel angle sensor
followed the Ross tech guide to recalibrate the sensor. But know the steering wheel angle code is gone but light still on . The only code that’s not going is terminal 30 suppply voltage G85 sensor for steering angle. Any idea guys could it be a weak battery.

Light came on again today same codes looks like G85 steering angle sensor will have to be replaced.

Hi guys, I am having similar issue with my a3 1.6 (2010). Very weak amber steering warning light is on (used to go on and off). The steering is fine. I don't know what the problem is. Don't have a computer to read the codes, so I have to take it to audi. Has anyone experienced similar issues, and knows what the problem could be? I hope I won't have to replace the steering rack. I also have a 2 years old battery.
