I’m really confused as I’ve just done it again and now see this...

Has anyone got a price for pads, or pads and discs for the SQ7? The Audi fixed price service doesn’t offer prices for the SQ7, but experience suggests they aren’t going to be lower....

I’ve got to say, the lack of warning for the diagnostics, compared to, say a BMW is pretty rubbish. I’ve a couple of long drives planned this year and I don’t really want the pad light popping up as I drive off the train in Calais.

You will get a warning when pads are low, and then you have at least 1000 miles depending on how you drive.

The problem is that you will not know if it is front or rear without removal of pads.

Ahh the flaming brake pad/discs fiasco

So the price I originally saw and you are seeing now is correct and what I paid....

The lower price which I saw on the day is an error and took Audi about 3 days to fix. I provided some feedback to Audi CS who came back really quickly in all fairness and explained that website was undergoing an update and was bringing back incorrect price.

However my feedback did get me a ‘gesture of goodwill’ of a free next service

I did also check the price on my original 65 plate Q7 and that mirrored the price that jldiablo was seeing - so definitely some change in the MY16 and MY16 v2 which has the reinforced floor
