Hankook 22" tyres with rim protection

I have massive rim protection "ridges" on my 22" tyres, I was a little sceptical at first, but I kerbed both nearside wheels yesterday, nearside rear scraped a kerb as I made a tight left turn, then nearside front scraped a kerb as I squeezed passed a parked car down a narrow road. I was grimacing both times and really annoyed with myself, but having checked the wheels over there is zero damage but I can see marks on the tyres where I clobbered the kerbs and it does seem that these ridges do indeed work. I'm suitably impressed.

Good to hear that. I’m yet to have to rely on them but it’s only a matter of time.

I think that rim protection on those tyres is well worth the money (no pun intended).
