Money first, then money again, and only after that - customers, quality, standards, reputation, workers, ecology, etc.

In case anyone is interested in the outcome, here’s what happened. I took the car to a tyre specialist who use Hunter alignment kit which is what Audi, Merc and all the prestige brands use. An all wheel check said the car was in spec but the near side left rear was on the limit. £60 later the car was as close to perfect as they could get and last Tuesday I took it back to Autoglass full expecting that they wouldn’t be able to fix it. Surprise surprise they did. I’m still sceptical that it was an alignment issue. I’m convinced the first fitter didn’t do something correctly and the second fitter, who seemed more experienced, fixed it but that’s just my opinion. The main thing is it all works which is great. Lane assist I can do without but I don’t think I can live without ACC ever again.

I have recently bought a 2016 Audi A4 and was unaware a non Audi windscreen was fitted . Been into Audi dealer for recalibration as they requested and got car back in same state as mechanic cannot calibrate due to being non Audi screen. Anyone know if this is correct as it cost £207 for them to tell me they can’t do it. I don’t know when/where/who fitted non Audi windscreen. Thanks would be grateful for any advice

If you bought from a garage take it back and get them to sort it out under warranty.

I had a very similar thing happen to me after a new windscreen was fitted on my A6. I don't have all the toys you have but had an auto lights and windscreen error. I tried to clear the faults using an OBD reader but nothing doing so then took off the plastic trim behind the mirror off to check the wiring and one of the plugs had not been clicked back into place. Pushed it back in and faults went away.
