    Hello all,

I would like direction as to why I have 'copper slip' looking sludge in my expansion tank. I have no loss of power at all and no over heating. Just traveled 350 mile round trip with no problems.

I thought heater matrix? or Head Gasket - but i have no loss of power??

    Any help would be grand

    Cheers G

hi there - thank you for your reply. I have had the car for about 2 years and never used rad sealant. Never had any problems with it either.

I would think it has probably had two types of antifreeze mixed, not a good thing, probably best to drain, flush and refill with correct type, g12,g13 etc
